Delete your AfyaFamily data
You can delete your account and personal data at any time — no reason needed.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open AfyaFamily and sign in.
- Go to You → Privacy & research.
- Tap Delete my data and confirm.
Your account and the personal data linked to it are permanently deleted straight away. This can’t be undone.
Ask us to delete it
If you can’t use the app, email support@afyafamily.org with the subject “Delete my AfyaFamily data” and your username. We’ll confirm the request and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account, username, password and any phone-number hash
- Your profile: age, location area, language, journey stage and method choices
- Saved text conversations, saved questions, reminders and device push tokens
What may be kept
- Programme reports that were already produced as group totals and never contained your identity
- Records we must keep by law, or to handle a safety or abuse report — kept only as long as required
- Encrypted expert messages already delivered to the expert’s device, which AfyaFamily cannot read
